Contribute a story

The Stories taskforce of the Sentinel Project on Pediatric Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (DR-TB) is gathering stories of children with DR-TB from around the world; we hope to collect at least one story from every country.  These stories will be featured on the Sentinel Project website.

If you would like to help the Sentinel Project to advocate for better drugs and drug formulations, diagnostics, and access to care for children with DR-TB, please send in a story about a child (up to age 21 at time of infection) you know with DR-TB.  Stories and/or completed frameworks can be sent to sentinel_project@hms.harvard.edu. Questions can be directed to Lindsay McKenna at Lindsay.Mckenna@treatmentactiongroup.org.

For the full case report collection form, download the framework document below, which is available in English, Spanish, French and Russian.

If you are unable to complete the form but would like to send in a story, please provide the minimum following information about the child:

  • Name
  • Country of residence
  • Gender
  • Age

If possible include:

  • Month/Year of first sign of illness
  • Month/Year of first diagnosis
  • Month/Year of initiation of treatment
  • Current health status

We look forward to receiving your stories!
